On Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 0953 hours, Manhasset-Lakeville F.D. Companies 4 and 5 were dispatched to 6 Ohio Drive for a reported vehicle fire. Deputy Chief Farrone (8705) was the first unit to respond and was advised of a reported working vehicle fire called in by Lake Success PD. Engines 8740 and 8758 arrived on the scene together and stretched a 1” ¾ hose line off Engine 8758 to extinguish the burning vehicle. All units were released from the scene within twenty minutes.
